VIANDEN AND ÉISLEK
The starting point of a region with character
GTLC Luxembourg takes root in Vianden, in the heart of Éislek. A town dominated by its castle, a region shaped by rivers, forests, and valleys, and trails that seem naturally destined for trail running.
On February 27, 2027, the five races will depart from Vianden to take participants on a discovery of northern Luxembourg.
VIANDEN, HOST TOWN OF GTLC LUXEMBOURG
Nestled in the Our Valley, Vianden will host the start of all distances.
Dominated by the silhouette of its castle, the town forms a particularly powerful starting point for GTLC Luxembourg. From the very first kilometers, participants will gradually leave its streets behind to reach the trails and surrounding terrain.
Vianden will be the heart of the event, the place where runners, supporters, volunteers, and residents gather throughout the day.
ÉISLEK, THE ARDENNES SIDE OF LUXEMBOURG
Located in the north of the Grand Duchy, Éislek forms the Luxembourgish part of the Ardennes.
Its landscape alternates between high plateaus, deep valleys, forests, rocky ridges, and villages. The Our and Sûre rivers flow through this landscape and have shaped a region with a character very different from the image usually associated with Luxembourg.
It is in this region that the five GTLC Luxembourg routes were designed.
